Advice for divorce in Nevada?

My sister has been married to a man for almost 16 yrs (1st marriage for both). They have 2 children, a 3 and 10 yr. old., have a house %26amp; live in Las Vegas, NV. We suspect he's been cheating on her %26amp; that's why he wants a divorce. He's admitted to infideltiy 8 yrs. ago, but wanted to work out the marriage so she stayed when he begged for her back. She's been loyal all these years %26amp; just wants what's rightfully hers. Please no judgements on her as she already feels badly. But any practical advice on (Nevada) divorce fr. people who've been there would be appreciated. Like what is she legally entitled to? Alimony, child support, etc.? Thanks.Advice for divorce in Nevada?
She will likely get full custody, and the father visitation unless she's been deemed unfit. She will get child support from the ex. The court orders the amount and its based off of his take home pay.

Spousal support is hard to win, its also left up to the judge but it depends on a lot of specifics in the marriage (if she worked, how much he makes, etc).

NV has a mandatory 60 day waiting period after filing until the divorce is finalized.Advice for divorce in Nevada?

Tell them this or show them this. Why go to an Attorney to divide money. They cost a lot.Just sell house,Divide the proceeds.

Do the right thing!Don't be vindictive.Just settle this.
if she didnt know about it she should get allomony and child suport or he should have asked for a divorce MILDRED IS IN THE PLAYPEN
She is entitled to alimony and child support...But please, call a Divorce attorney; their first visit is most likely FREE, BUT ASK FIRST???
Most states she is entitled to half. When I was going through my divorce i called my church that i got married in, I wasnt a regular attnder but the priest/pastor whatever (im not very religious if you cant tell) told me what i needed to do and where to go and what i was entitled to. He was so helpful.

I was also in the same boat, although no kids and not married as long as her. I was entitled to half and i also suspected him of cheating.

Most states also offer ';counceling'; where both parties can go and its usually free for one session and you can go over what you would each be entitled to also.

Contact your city hall, sate office or something along those lines and just ask what services they provide for this situation.

Im sorry to hear her marriage is falling apart, but what doesnt kill her will only make her stronger. I promise. She will come out on top. :)
