Divorce issue need advice pls...?

My husband after 4 yrs separation petition for divorce. We had agreed and sign an agreement stating that I will get all money earn from the sale of matrimonial flat under the condition that i do not claim wife maintenance. My worry now is:what if the court revoke our agreement and by that time, i had already rejected my chance of claiming wife maintenance?What should i do?Divorce issue need advice pls...?

I don't understand the problem. If you have a signed agreement, then just follow the agreement. It sounds like you want to sell the flat and keep the money. Does he now want to keep some of the money from the sale of the flat? Why would the court revoke your agreement? I think you need to get a lawyer's advice on this one. Laws are very different from country to country.

Husband %26amp; wife can make any deal they want, but courts really get activated over child support. You didn't say if there's kids involved. If there's no kids, and you're not ill or infirm, you can agree to whatever you like.
