i am prior active duty and my husband is currently active duty. i went to talk to a lawyer about getting a divorce today. he said that my husband, who is an e-4, will be paying around $300-$400 a month for both of our children. this is not enough to help me raise our 2 babies! he went by the texas state guidelines though. is there any way that this could be wrong? it would seem that he should help with more. if there is anyone who has gone through this situation could you please give me some advice? i would greatly appreciate it!Military divorce advice?

naw mama i haven't gone through it but being a miltary wife off the gate i know it is for him being a specialist he should be paying you around 700 or 800 for 2 kids there is a website that you can go to Miltary.com and check out this site. don't listen to other person because him being married is still getting bah so i know that is for the family.
military goes by home of record partialy, when your spouce is in the military they factor in medical, prescription, and dental coverage that is covered by the military, so your monatary amount is less than someone whos spouce isnt in the military.
